Isabella Kearney-Nurse grew up in Sydney, Australia and began her musical journey at the age of 14.
Signing to Sony/ATV Music Publishing in 2018 Isabella went on to work with critically-acclaimed artists and writers including Oak Felder (Alessia Cara, Lizzo), The Orphanage (Kehlani, Demi Lovato), David Hodges (Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood), Erika Ender (Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee), Steve Solomon (James Arthur, Dean Lewis), Liz Rose (Taylor Swift, Chris Stapleton), Starsmith (Jess Glynn, Ellie Goulding), M-Phazes (Demi Lovato), JoJo, Jessica Mauboy, The Veronicas, Mitch James, Guy Sebastian, Azure Ryder and many more.
Isabella’s song-writing successes in 2020 included the single “Jealous” on Jessica Mauboy’s #1 ARIA album ‘Hilda’ and the single “Only Thing Missing” written with The Orphanage on Guy Sebastian’s #1 ARIA album ‘T.R.U.T.H’. Isabella also co-wrote Matt Gresham’s single “Who Am I Now” which was performed on The Voice Australia in 2020 and reached #1 on iTunes Australia chart.
In 2020, Isabella also co-write the single “Conditions” which was chosen as a finalist on the NBC US TV Show Songland. “Conditions” has now been rewritten with Shane McAnally (Kacey Musgraves, Sam Hunt) and Ryan Tedder (One Republic, Selena Gomez).
